Dried Flower Care
So you've received one of our dried flower arrangements? How exciting!
Now you want to know how to care for them?
Caring for Dried & Preserved Flowers is quite easy, after all they are fuss-free flowers!
Here's some tips...
- They're DELICATE. Be gentle when handling them, any bumps or knocks can cause breakages. They will naturally become more fragile with age, don't despair if you notice some fall-out from grasses or blooms in time, this is normal.
- A QUIET place & good AIRFLOW. They are best suited to a 'permanent' spot with good airflow to avoid becoming damp, and less foot traffic/movement away from little fingers and fluffy friends.
- NO Moisture. Keep them dry! They do not like water, moisture or humidity. Unlike fresh flowers, dried flowers will become weak and mouldy if exposed to moisture.
- AVOID Sunlight. Its best to avoid direct sunlight & keep them away form any direct heat source. They will naturally fade over time but to slow this process keep them out of direct sunlight.
- DUST me. You can use a gentle feather duster or hairdryer on low/cool heat works well to.
With good care they will last you months, if not years!
Lastly... REMEMBER, they are NOT COLOURFAST. It's best to keep them away from any fabrics or furnishings to avoid colour transfer.
