Dried Flower Care
Caring for Dried & Preserved Flowers is quite easy, after all
they are fuss-free flowers!
Here's some tips...
- Handle with care, they are delicate. Any bumps or knocks can cause breakages. They will naturally become more fragile with age, don't despair if you notice some fall-out from grasses or blooms in time, this is normal.
- Best displayed in a cool, dry, and low-humidity spot. They are best suited to a 'permanent' place with good airflow and less traffic/ movement away from little fingers and fluffy friends.
- Keep them dry! NO moisture. They do not like water, moisture or humidity. Unlike fresh flowers, dried flowers can become weak or mouldy if exposed to moisture.
-
Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading. They will naturally fade over time but to slow this process keep them out of direct sunlight.
- Dust gently with a hairdryer on cool/low speed from a distance.
-
They are NOT colourfast. It's best to keep them away from any fabrics or furnishings to avoid colour transfer.
With good care they will last you months, if not years!
Enjoy your Flor'ever Flowers!
